We had been to the Blue Spoon years ago and it was great. I understand the owner passed away several years ago and that is why it closed. We were meeting a few of my kids for Sunday breakfast and the Blue Spoon Again was suggested. All we knew was that it was the same type of menu as the original, but none of us knew if it was opened by a worker from the original, a family member of the prior owner, or someone using the original ideas. The location was very different (on the edgeof town instead of near the campus) and the restaurant was much larger than the original. There were 5 of us for breakfast. They don't take reservations but we hit the sweet spot from a timing standpoint because we got a table immediately. Before we were done there was a crowd of people waiting for tables to become available. We started with fresh baked cinnamon rolls for the table. They were delicious. We had assorted dishes ordered between us. Breakfast bowls, breakfast burritos, traditional eggs/ meat/ potatoes dishes, and something else I can't remember. Everyone loved the food. We are up here for our son’s college baseball tournament, we stopped in for breakfast and he pitched a complete game for the win! He credits it all to his Blue Spoon Again mushroom and bacon omelet!

Really enjoyed my sausage and cheddar omelwt with half order biacuits and gravy on the side. Great service from Megan ... bottomless cup o coffee

We just went for breakfast at Blue Spoon Again for the first time and it was excellent! Definitely one of the best breakfasts in the Decatur area. Between our group we had breakfast burritos, biscuits, gravy, pancakes and bacon and everything was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Just remember to bring cash but they do have an ATM. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I are so happy we are able to spoon again and have made it a point to eat here every Sunday!!!! It was gone for far too long. By far the best breakfast place in the area. The wait staff is outstanding. The coffee is always good and hot also. I always get the Burri-shoe well 1/2 because that is plenty for me) because it is so good. The funny thing is that I am not typically a fan of the horseshoe. My wife is always getting something different, and she has not been disappointed yet. I always try hers and have not found anything I don't like yet. The most unique aspect of the place is that you can almost be guaranteed to meet new people. Most of the tables are four tops so if it is just you and your sweetie spooning and they get busy they will set two more spoonies with you. Including pictures of the Burri-shoe, The French Hippie, and the Vice Chancellor.
